COREtec Click LVT Flooring
COREtec LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) is a highly durable and versatile flooring option that consists of multiple layers. These layers work together to provide a range of benefits, including superior water resistance, enhanced stability, and increased durability.
The top layer is a clear, wear-resistant layer that protects the floor from scratches, scuffs, and other types of damage including exposure to UV light and is textured to feel just like the real thing. Beneath this layer is a high-resolution photograph that provides the flooring with its realistic, wood-like or stone-like appearance.
The middle layer, known as the Sound Core, is made of an extremely dense, waterproof material. This layer gives the flooring its stability and ensures that it will not expand or contract due to changes in temperature or humidity.
The bottom layer is a cork backing that provides additional cushioning and sound-absorption. This layer also helps to make the flooring more comfortable to walk on and reduces the amount of noise generated by foot traffic.
The "Click" design of these LVT planks refers to how the flooring is installed into your home. Each plank has a lip and a groove which interlocs with the adjacent planks for a solid connection with no tools required.
