Flooring
Do you provide a free measuring service?
Lazy Carpets offer a free, no-obligation home consultation visit at a time of your choice. You can speak with our team at any time by calling us or sending us a message to arrange an appointment. Our reps will accurately measure your chosen rooms to keep waste to a minimum and achieve the best possible price.
Do you fit carpets in my area?
You can see all the areas we cover on our postcode checker. You can view this here. We are still growing, and more postcodes are being added to our service area all the time. If we currently service your area, send us a message and register your interest and we will let you know when we arrive in your area.
Can I order product samples?
We aren’t able to post samples or leave samples after a home visit currently, but this is something we hope to offer in the future.
Can I order flooring and fit it myself?
Currently we don't offer this service however this is something that we may look to offer in the future. You can always book one of our expert fitters to install your new flooring however.
Will my room need to be prepared?
Yes. Unless you choose our furniture and flooring uplift service, you will need to ensure that all furniture and old flooring has been removed before the fitter arrives.
Can I contact my local rep?
If you have your reps details, you can contact them directly at any time, before or after a home visit or even after your fitting. If you need your local reps details, please call the office here, and we gladly give you the rep's details.
How long does a fitting take for my new flooring?
Our standard fitting time for all carpet, vinyl, LVT and laminate orders is 2-3 weeks. Fitting may take longer during our busier periods.
Will you dispose of my old flooring?
While we can include carpet uplifting in your price, we don’t currently offer a disposal service. Any old carpets or flooring will be bagged and left with you after fitting.
How much is fitting?
We charge a total fitting fee for all the rooms and work you need in your order. Our reps will quote the cost during home visits. Fitting starts at £30 for a single room, and discounts apply for multiple rooms. Staircases, halls and landings have an additional charge. We also have different rates for fitting laminate flooring.
Why is there a surcharge for hall, stairs and landing fitting?
Fitting carpet onto stairs involves more work than that required for standard rooms, the surcharge for carpets or laminate on stairs is to pay for this extra work required.
What to do if my fitter has not arrived?
In the unfortunate event that our fitters can not attend your scheduled fitting appointment, we endeavour to inform you at the earliest opportunity. If you haven’t heard from us, or your fitter at your appointment time, please call here, and we will update you on the status of your fitter. There are occasions whereby a fitter could be delayed several times. In this instance, we do apologise for any inconvenience caused and will arrange an alternative appointment at your convenience.
I believe the fitter has damaged my property, what can I do?
If you believe there has been damage to your property from one of our fitting teams, contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate and resolve this for you as quickly as possible. Please take as many images as possible and provide as much information as you can.
Beds
Can I order product samples?

Can I order a bed for collection from you?
We offer a free delivery service for all of our beds, so there is no need to collect. You can choose when we deliver, so you never have to worry about not being in.
How long does delivery take?
We aim to deliver all beds within 3-4 weeks. However, we cannot guarantee this timeframe. We will call within five days of your order date to book in your delivery. At this time, you can specify your preferred delivery date.
How much is delivery?
Standard delivery is free on all of our beds. Our team will deliver your order on the day you choose, and this will be an all-day slot. You can choose to upgrade to the following delivery services if you’d like a higher level of service:
Room of Choice: £10
Assembly Service: £25
Will you take my old bed away?
We currently don’t offer a service to take away any old beds or other furniture.
Will my room need to be prepared if I’m having the bed installed?
Yes, we will need a clear space to assemble your new bed in your room of choice. Our team will bring the bed inside for you, and then unpack and put the bed together so you can relax and start enjoying right away.
What to do if my delivery hasn’t arrived?
We will book you in with a delivery date via telephone once your order is ready to be dispatched. When your delivery day arrives, we will call you in the morning and give you an estimated time for your delivery. If you haven’t heard from us by 11 am on your delivery day, please call the office on here for assistance.
I believe the delivery driver has damaged my property, what can be done?
If you believe there has been damage to your property from one of our delivery teams, contact us as soon as possible. We will investigate and resolve this for you as quickly as possible. Please take as many images as possible and provide as much information as you can.
Payments
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept card payments, Google Pay and Apple Pay, PayPal and also offer finance options.
Is it safe to enter my payment details online?
Our website uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL) to encrypt all data, ensuring your data and card payment data are safe. Lazy Carpets LTD does not see, have access to, or store any payment card information.
I am due a refund, how long does this take to process?
Most refunds will take between 5 and 10 working days to process.
