Online Orders Delivery Information
The following information and terms apply to purchase of goods from the Lazy Carpets website. These terms may differ from the terms applied to any sale or transaction which takes place in person with our field sales team.
At Lazy Carpets, we pride ourselves in offering you excellent service. With this in mind, we want you to be 100% confident when purchasing from us. To place an order, you will need to provide a valid contact details, so we can contact you to confirm your delivery details.
We aim to deliver all orders within 4 weeks. However, in the rare event of items being out of stock, we will deliver as soon as the new stock arrives. In certain exceptional circumstances, such as adverse weather, we may be unable to fulfil your order per these terms. In these circumstances, we may require additional time and effort to complete the delivery.
Any dates we specify for the delivery of your order could be subject to change due to circumstance beyond our control, and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay. If we make a mistake, we will use our best endeavours to rectify the problem as quickly as possible.
We cannot deliver items within the same order to multiple addresses. If you require this then please place separate orders for each address. Each order will be subject to a separate delivery charge.
Until dispatch of goods by the seller (Lazy Carpets LTD) to the buyer, no contract for the sale of goods shall arise.
Areas we deliver to
We are currently only able to deliver to the North West of England and do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Any time frames given are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. We are not able to deliver to PO Box addresses.
Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot take orders for delivery to British Forces Post Offices (BFPO), Freight Forwarders or international addresses.
The following postcodes are currently being accepted for home delivery:
BB, BL, CH, CW, L, M, OL, PR, SK, WA, WN
Your delivery charge will vary depending on the service level and the products which you are ordering.
For bed products, we offer the following levels of service:
- FREE Delivery – Delivery to the front door of your property only
- £10 – Delivered to your room of choice
- £25 – Delivered and installed in a room of your choice
For rugs, we only offer one delivery service:
- FREE Delivery, 3-5 working days via courier
You will be contacted before dispatch to organise a delivery date and given an AM/PM slot on the day of delivery. You will need to sign for the delivery. We advise that you check your items before signing and note any defects on the delivery acceptance form with your signature. Once you have signed for the goods, we will not accept any liability for damages claimed which weren’t declared before the order was signed for. Deliveries will only be made Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
We will deliver your order to your front door for free via courier with our standard delivery option. You will receive tracking information from the courier when your delivery has been booked, which will detail the delivery date and a time slot. You will need to sign for the delivery. We advise that you check your items before signing and note any defects on the delivery acceptance form with your signature. Once you have signed for the goods, we will not accept any liability for damages claimed which weren’t declared before the order was signed for. Deliveries will only be made Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
Once delivered, the items ordered will become your property (provided they have been paid for in full) and your responsibility. Apart from where damaged or faulty when delivered, or where items have been incorrectly delivered, we will not accept any liability for their loss, damage or destruction after they have been delivered.
Please make sure that you check your items carefully before you use them. We recommend that you keep your receipt. You will need this information as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales enquiry.

Cancellation: Your Right to Cancel
An order is accepted by us at the point of dispatch, until this time you have the right to cancel. To cancel an order before it has been accepted, contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number and postcode and we will arrange for the order to be cancelled. You will receive a confirmation of the order cancellation.
